Which model should we choose?
Three of the four are sold into commercial use. The Barrel Pro and the Pro are each rated for around 30 people a day and share the same chiller and filtration — choose between them on floor space, since the Barrel Pro is a 87 cm round and the Pro a 193 cm rectangle. The Commercial is built for more than 30 people a day and is the only model with the commercial-grade multi-layer filter and the surface skimmer. The Standard is a residential plunge. How many people a day can it handle?
The Commercial is built for more than 30 users a day. Cooling, filtration, and circulation are all sized for continuous use in gyms, spas, and hotels — compared with around 30 users a day for the residential Pro.
How much staff time does it take each week?
Cleaning the pre-filter and the particle filter takes a few minutes and is done every 1–5 days depending on how busy the plunge is. The commercial-grade filter is cleaned every 7–10 days. The UV-C lamp is replaced once a year. A full water change is needed up to every 3 months. Temperature and operating hours are set in the app.
How is water hygiene handled in commercial use?
Three-step filtration runs continuously, a commercial-grade multi-layer filter and a surface skimmer deal with what a shared plunge collects, and UV-C works on bacteria between cleans. Chlorine can be added for commercial water treatment. Rules for publicly accessible water differ from country to country, so check what applies in yours.

What's the difference between a cold plunge and an ice bath?
A cold plunge uses a built-in chiller to maintain a precise water temperature without ice. A traditional ice bath requires manually adding ice and offers less control. Temperd is a cold plunge with an integrated chiller — always cold, always ready, no ice needed.
