Which model should we choose?
Start from daily volume. Barrel Pro and Pro are rated for light commercial use of around 30 people a day; the Commercial is built for up to 100 and is the only model with commercial-grade multi-layer filtration and a surface skimmer. Between Barrel Pro and Pro it comes down to space: the Barrel Pro is a round 87 cm unit with a separate chiller, the Pro a full 193 cm lie-down plunge. Tell us the numbers and we will recommend one.
How many people a day can it handle?
The Commercial is built for up to 100 users per day — cooling, filtration and circulation are all sized for continuous use in gyms, spas and hotels. Barrel Pro and Pro are rated for around 30 people a day.
Does it really reach 0°C?
All three models hold a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C, depending on ambient conditions and correct use of the insulation cover. Barrel Pro and Pro run 3100 W of cooling; the Commercial runs 3600 W.
Do the Barrel Pro and Pro have commercial filtration?
They run the same three-step filtration as the Commercial — pre-filter, 30 micron particle filter and UV-C — but not the commercial-grade multi-layer filter or the surface skimmer, which are specific to the Commercial. That is the main reason the Commercial is rated for higher daily volume.
Do we need plumbing or a building alteration?
No. Temperd is plug and play. You need a flat, level base, 60 cm of clearance for the vents and access to a standard electrical outlet. Draining takes under five minutes.
How is water hygiene handled in commercial use?
Three-step filtration runs continuously to keep the water clear, and chlorine can be added for commercial water treatment. Rules for publicly accessible water differ from country to country, so check what applies in yours.
What does maintenance involve?
Pre-filter and particle filter cleaning every 1–5 days on every model, the Commercial's multi-layer filter every 7–10 days, and a water change up to every 3 months. The UV-C lamp is rated for 20,000 hours. Scheduling is handled in the app.
Do you install it for us?
No installation service is needed. Setup takes around 30 minutes. Delivery is curb-side, and 2–4 people are recommended for carrying and placement.
What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is 4–6 weeks. Get in touch if you are planning several units or need a specific delivery window.
What warranty applies to a business purchase?
Warranty length depends on the buyer, not the model: 1 year for business purchases, 2 years for consumer purchases. A plunge bought for a gym, hotel or spa is a business purchase, so 1 year applies to all three models here. Full warranty details.
Where do you deliver, and what does delivery cost?
