Shipping & Delivery
Temperd Ltd – Shipping & Delivery
Every Temperd cold plunge is built to order and delivered on a pallet, to the kerb. This page sets out where we deliver, what it costs, how long it takes, and what you need to have ready on the day.
Where We Deliver
We deliver to 42 countries in Europe.
- European Union (27): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
- United Kingdom.
- Other European markets (14): Belarus, Gibraltar, Iceland, Isle of Man, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey.
If no delivery option appears at checkout for your address, we have not set a rate for that destination in advance. That does not mean we cannot deliver — write to office@temperd.co and we will quote it.
What Delivery Costs
Delivery is charged by the total weight of the order, in bands of roughly 120 kg. In practice that is one delivery charge per plunge:
- Bulgaria: €290 per plunge. Accessories and water-care items ship for a flat 20 BGN.
- Rest of Europe: €390 per plunge. Accessories and water-care items ship for a flat €35.
- United Kingdom: €550 per plunge. Accessories and water-care items ship for a flat €35.
Two plunges in one order are charged twice the single rate, three plunges three times, and so on. The exact amount is always shown at checkout before you pay. Orders above about 650 kg — roughly five plunges — are quoted individually rather than rated automatically.
How Long It Takes
Your plunge is made to order, so there are two separate stages and it is worth reading them as one total:
- Preparation: 4 to 6 weeks from the date your payment clears. This is production, finishing in your chosen colour and testing.
- Transit: about 1 week after the pallet leaves us.
In total, expect about 5 to 7 weeks from payment to delivery. We will tell you when your order moves into transit, and the carrier will contact you to agree a delivery day. Accessories ordered on their own are not made to order and ship within about 5 business days.
VAT, Duties and Customs
- European Union: the price you see includes VAT. There is nothing further to pay on arrival.
- United Kingdom: the price you see includes UK VAT and there is no customs duty to pay. Nothing further is payable on arrival.
- Other destinations outside the EU and the UK: local import VAT and any customs charges are not included in the price shown at checkout. You are the importer of record and those charges are payable by you when the shipment arrives. If you want the landed cost confirmed before you order, write to office@temperd.co first.
What Curbside Delivery Means
Your plunge travels on a pallet of roughly 200 × 90 cm under a protective wooden cover, on a freight vehicle.
- The driver delivers to the kerb at your address. Delivery does not include carrying the plunge indoors, through a building, up or down stairs, over a fence, or into a garden.
- Plan for 2 to 4 people to move the plunge from the kerb to where it will stand.
- Setup once it is in position takes around 30 minutes.
- The driver cannot wait while you move it, and cannot remove the pallet or packaging.
What to Have Ready
- Level access from the kerb to the final position, and a clear route wide enough for the plunge.
- Enough people, and any trolley or straps you want to use.
- Somewhere to store or dispose of the pallet and wooden cover.
- An address a freight vehicle can actually reach. If access is narrow, restricted, or needs a permit, tell us before we dispatch.
On the Day It Arrives
Inspect the pallet before you sign for it.
- Photograph the shipment while it is still on the transport pallet, on the day of receipt.
- Note any visible damage on the carrier's paperwork before signing.
- Contact us at support@temperd.co the same day with the photos.
This is the same evidence we ask for under the warranty, and having it makes a transit damage claim straightforward.
If Delivery Cannot Be Completed
If nobody is available or the vehicle cannot reach the address, the carrier will contact you to arrange another day. If a repeat attempt, storage or redelivery carries a cost, we will quote it and confirm it with you in writing before anything is charged.
Commercial and Project Deliveries
Site surveys, inside placement, crane or lift access, split deliveries and commissioning are arranged separately and are not part of standard curbside delivery. Contact office@temperd.co with your site details and we will plan it with you.
Returns, Cancellation and Warranty
For cancellation, the EU right of withdrawal and how to return a plunge, see our Refund Policy. For coverage after delivery, see our Warranty.
If you have a question this page does not answer, write to office@temperd.co and we will answer it before you order.
